Recalling a previous vacation

Every Christmas my family travels to Colorado. It could be argued that there are no better skiing mountains in the United States then what is carved in Colorado. Our goal was simple; to go skiing. The thin feel of the Colorado air always took some adjusting to, especially when exercising on the mountains. The air is always crisp and cool, with snowflakes floating through the air. We visited Vail, one of the more popular Colorado mountains. During the Christmas season there was always a wonderful sight of lights and orniments sourrounding the town. The people are always in a happy mood, and it etched the mood of Christmas into my mind. Now whenever Christmas comes along, I always get that Colorado chill, the feeling of being on the mountains. My family doesn't travel to Vail anymore although the warm sense of joy always rests inside me every time the Christmas season comes along.
